Hornady's Lock N Load AP is an automatic, five-station press with the most user-friendly and innovative patented quick tool change technology of all progressive presses. Our system switches dies, powder measure, check dies, bullet seater or crimp dies without having to change the whole die head. Change one die or all with one quick twist. The Lock N Load AP comes complete with a full-size Lock N Load Powder Measure that will load anything from pistols up through most magnum rifle cartridges. This professional-grade, auto-indexing, five-station progressive press features quick tool change technology, allowing you to switch rifle and pistol dies, powder dies, check dies, bullet seaters, and crimp dies without having to change the whole die head. The Lock-N-Load is ultra-reliable and easy to use. The press's EZject system, for example, reliably ejects every cartridge, every time, without any adjustments. The system loads at a rate of up to 500 rounds per hour, and features the quickest changeover of any progressive press thanks to the five-station quick-change bushing system. The bushing system lets you change from 223 to 45 in less than five minutes--faster than most other progressive presses on the market. The Lock-N-Load also offers quick-change metering inserts, allowing you to switch from one powder to another with the push of a button. Add one to each die set for the ultimate in quick changeovers. The reloader's universal case retainer spring, meanwhile, allows you to quickly and easily remove and replace a case at any point in the loading process. To help the reloader function extra smooth, the Lock-N-Load comes with an automatic indexing system. Each station moves 1/2 stage on the upstroke and 1/2 stage on the down stroke, a contrast from other presses that do all their indexing on the down stroke. Other features include a priming system for easy changing from large to small primers; a case-activated powder drop; and a large-capacity hopper.

Description

The Lee Precision Breech Lock Challenger Press is an "O" frame press. The "O" frame press by design is the strongest and by far the most popular style press. The larger than average opening allows for maximum hand clearance. The spent primer catcher is positive and allows you to route the spent primers directly to the trash can. Priming is a dream with the Lee Lever Prime System. Best of all, it includes the Breech Lock Quick Change die system.
